Residential Parking Permit Program
Note: The Council authorized moving this program from the Administration Department to the Police Department at the January 2005 Council meeting. Additionally, at that time the parking zones were modified and were authorized for advertising at the February 2005 Council meeting. Adoption took place at the March 2005 meeting. The modifications entail the addition of a fourth zone (Zone D) which included certain streets formerly included in the existing zones.
Sayre Borough citizens who reside within the residential parking program area must register their vehicles in order to park on the streets Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., excluding holidays. The Sayre Police Department enforces this program. To determine if you will need a parking permit, see Residential Parking Zones schedule below. You must bring vehicle registration for each vehicle!
